New year, new look

Just like the woodland animals who have taken residence in our lobby over the festive season, we feel that winter is the time for hibernation. But instead of peaceful slumber, we plan to be busy.

As such, from Tuesday 7th January the hotel will close for a brief pause to reset and prepare for a fabulous year ahead. We will reopen on Tuesday 25th February 2025 with all the people and things that you love about One Aldwych, plus a few more – these works are simply the next step as we continue to evolve as London’s cultured, independent hotel.

Following this short but sweet period guests can expect the same warm welcome with a more residential feel, enhanced and easy-to-use in-room technology and, to cap it all off, a new feel to Indigo and a stunning water ripple effect installation floating above the Lobby Bar to reflect the vibrant glow below. We apologise for any inconvenience this fleeting closure may cause, (we never like to upset our guests), but in keeping with our commitment to offering the very best experiences we are excited to share these latest innovations with you in the new year.
